Moving Forward in Photos

With my last wedding, suitably around my anniversary, I've decided to press forward with a formal business. Available for contemporary wedding photojournalism and portraiture, children, families, and select commercial work. I will begin taking limited commisions for the 2008 YEar. Pass the word along for those who may have an interest. My style will continue to evolve in more of a modern, photojournalistic fashion. Of course, I'm available for global travel.

A Special Visit

We were thrilled to have Aunt Terri in town the second weekend in December. Lots of visiting was had....giggles and memories. Grant stayed home from school that friday to create the FAmous "snow lady" and play games. We went in search for the perfect christmas tree at a local farm on Saturday, and found the glorious "Aunt Terri Tree" in the midst of the field. What a BLast we had together. After many games of checkers, tree decorating, and presents being opened....it was time to say goodbye and send aunt TErri home to Georgia.

Thanks for a GReat weekend and for loving us as MUch as you do....

Annie

Annie transitioned elementary schools this year to be with the twins. She is a superior big sister, and friend to so many young ladies.
Annie and grant played fall SOccer for extra fun. She is gearing up for UPward basketball at church and a 2nd season of SOftball. Annie is certainly more athlete than her mother, and I'm thankful for the diversity. She is also an upcoming THeater talent, and will debut in the SMARTS original opera company the beginning of may. Meeting her first, formal try out with success, she will play the role of Angelina. Come out and see her perform if you are in TOwn.

Surviving, but wanting to thrive

Our family is alive....barely. Once summer came to an end, everything flew into hyperspeed. Scottie started a new position with Blue sky rehab in Canfield, still doing home health care. I started back to nearly full time teaching for the first time in ten years. I accepted a position with Heartland Christian School in Columbiana....old stomping grounds when grant was newborn. I'm teaching part time for HCS in the high school as the journalism, photography, and french I instructor. I also work in the auxiliary unit of the school, under Columbiana Exempted Village, as a tutor. In that unit I share office space with the fabulous engineer/physics teacher/mother and wife...Erin Rossi. Erin makes my days at heartland even brighter than they already are. Working and trying to manage home and family is very stressful and fatiguing...but it's coming along. I've claimed this year (in many respects) as a building year. I adore my students as if they were my own children, and love my core classes. I brag on these kids quite a bit...

As usual, our family is a little under the weather post Christmas celebration. Any new year festivities will be quiet.

We've been terribly out of touch with so many of you, and we are sorry. Please allow us some time to transition with life.

You are loved.....
